Ingredients
- 1 wheel of Brie cheese (about 8-10 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons The Beekeeper’s Daughter Lavender Infused Raw Honey
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
- Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Brie: Remove any excess packaging from the Brie wheel. You can leave the rind on for baking; it adds a nice texture.
- Place Brie in Baking Dish: Place the Brie wheel in a small oven-safe baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Score the Top of Brie: Using a sharp knife, make a few shallow cuts or a crisscross pattern on the top of the Brie. This helps the honey to penetrate and infuse the cheese while baking.
- Drizzle with Honey: Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of honey over the scored Brie.
- Add Chopped Nuts: Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top of the Brie, pressing them gently into the honey.
- Bake in the Oven: Place the baking dish or sheet in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until the Brie is softened and gooey.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the baked Brie from the oven and drizzle the remaining tablespoon of honey over the top. Garnish with fresh rosemary if desired.
- Serve Warm: Serve the baked Brie immediately while it’s warm and gooey. Accompany it with crackers or sliced baguette.
Tip
- Try using Fall Blossom or Buckwheat Blossom for a more earthy flavor. Saw Palmetto adds a smokey/salty flavor.
