Featured Honey: Bourbon Honey

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3/4 cup Beekeeper’s Daughter Bourbon Honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together bourbon honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. This will be your marinade.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Reserve the remaining marinade for basting during grilling. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or longer for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is nicely grilled with beautiful grill marks.
  5. Baste with Reserved Marinade: While grilling, baste the chicken with the reserved marinade during the last few minutes of cooking to add extra flavor.
  6. Rest and Garnish: Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  7. Serve: Serve the Grilled Bourbon Honey Chicken with lime wedges on the side for a burst of freshness.
